I use this mug for drinking, but not in the way you might think. A 30 oz Fast Food cup (a large McDonald's soft drink) fits comfortably. The foam insulation keeps the drink cold for hours, longer than it takes me to drink it all and way longer than without this mug. I don't use the included lid, just dip the mug in and as the cold always subsides (like open grocery store freezers) the included lid suffices. No housekeeping. I just throw the cup away when I'm done. I use it at work but plan to buy another one at home. I probably won't keep it in the car because it's too big for one of my cup holders, but will have something to keep my drinks cold when I get there.
