I paid less than $20 for a pair with free shipping. I installed them on a Pro Series Cargo Carrier with the car's taillights obscured by the cargo. They fit perfectly into the oval openings in the trunk. That's right, the rubber grommet keeps the light a little loose. It wouldn't take me long to slide the lights out of the grommets. The wire braid is very thin, about 8-10 inches long. I made my own 4 wire harness to connect to my vehicles trailer light connector. The light produced is very similar in brightness to my car's taillights, although the brake/turn signals are much brighter than my car's. But these pigtail lights can be made thinner than this to fit in hard-to-reach places.
