Not very convenient

I've been a Logitech user for 25 years, but over the last few years customer service hasn't been what it used to be. It took over a year to return the headset. It was the straw that broke the camels' backs. I decided to try something new without spending so much money. I expected good things from this mouse but it was disappointing. When I put my hand on the mouse, the front side button is not easy to reach without reaching forward. I think it's the shape of the mouse. The sniper button hangs over the side buttons, so the smooth transition from the sniper button to the side buttons is awkward. I use mouse wheel buttons, especially the side buttons. With my previous mouse, I could just swipe to use it. I pull my hand away on this mouse because the wheel is low and I just can't run my finger over it. IMHO, that defeats the purpose. I'll use it for a week and if I don't get used to it. He will come back. In general, an uncomfortable mouse for me. Seems like I'll look for another mouse if this one doesn't work. I may have to bite the bullet and keep using my G903. EDIT: I went back to my G903 but then gave the X17 another try. The UNLEASH software is terrible if you want macros. It's not user-friendly either, and there's very little information on how to set up custom RGB. After struggling with trying to get the macros to work properly. I returned to my G903. Let's hope EVGA improves this terrible software. If you don't use macros this isn't a decent mouse, but not at the original price point.
