Almost Perfect Flip Case for iPad Pro 12.9 "

PREFACE. I purchased it on September 24, 2016 from Revain for $18.99 for my 12.9" iPad Pro . Stapling - Cutouts and holes for everything you expect - Elasticated pen holder that comes with ballpoint pen/stylus - Adequate corner protection - Fits snugly on device - Tight-fitting document sleeve on lid - Smart Magnet cover CONS: - None . I've only had this case for a day, but it will probably be the last case I need for my new 12.9" iPad Pro. The case contained a cellophane-wrapped foam insert, as well as a handy pen and stylus combo. There However, having already bought an Apple Pencil, I refrain from reviewing the stylus - it's just a stylus with a rubber stylus on the other end.The body feels really solid and the composite leather looks like it will hold up pretty well.for everyday use.Unlike some that eventually roll and fall apart, this material feels like one solid piece through the core. The stitching was also surprisingly strong and I didn't notice any fraying.A few sleeves in the folio -Styles leave a bit too much wiggle room when you put your device in, but this case doesn't, unfortunately I bought a silicone case to fill in gaps with the case, but the case is so tight that there's not a millimeter or two of silicone between them. One of the things I love is how the device is secured in the case - there is a Velcro tab on the inner gusset of the folio that wraps under the device and attaches directly underneath. So, in theory, you can mount the device as tightly as you like. All corners of the device are protected either by the material that directly covers it or by the material that protrudes beyond it. And that skin is pretty thick and tough. I'm not sure there's a leather case that could work much better than this one. It features a tiered placement system that acts as a kickstand and the skin-to-skin layers hold up really well. I can't imagine the stand suddenly detaching and damaging the device. The pencil holder is elastic and holds my Apple Pencil tightly enough to prevent accidental slipping out, but not so tight that you risk tearing the elastic at some point. Only time can tell. There are cutouts for each speaker, input, button, and camera. The rear camera has a hole large enough so that the skin does not interfere with the view. The smart magnetic lid worked flawlessly. It's magnetic enough to stick to it in light turbulence, but not strong enough to damage anything electronic. It also worked flawlessly with my iPad's screen turning on and off automatically. CONCLUSION: excellent protection, excellent functionality, excellent optics, affordable price. No complaints. Goodbye.
