My daily driver is a 2005 MD E320 CDI with 150,000 miles so the seat padding is compressed in the lumbar area causing back pain. I needed a lumbar support that was narrow enough to accommodate the curvature of the backrest without hitting the forward flared sides of the seat. This thing fits nicely in the narrow seat back space, but due to the way the seat is designed in this car, the length of the bottom fasteners is too short, allowing it to sit squarely on the underside. a seat that can be a few inches lower. It's still doing its job of keeping my lower back out of the compressed foam, so I'm keeping it. But if the lumbar cushion could be adjusted up and down on the tethers, that would be ideal.
