Review on 🔒 Delta Lockwood 79010-PT Glass Shelf, Aged Pewter, 24-Inch by Carl Ferguson

I bought two of these for the bathroom. I love the way they look and they are very strong and easily hold multiple liter bottles of aftershave which are available at incredibly reasonable prices. "Security Barge" prevents things from falling off the edge onto the ground. There are several points a potential buyer would want to know. Firstly, that "safety bar" which is shown as flat and level in the picture, not quite flat and level on the shelves I received. It is clearly curved in the middle. Luckily, both shelves are like this, so it looks more like an architectural element than a design flaw. The fact is that my shelves have not turned out quite as you see in the picture. The second point concerns the installation. The kit includes a handy paper template for marking the wall and drilling holes for the mounting brackets. To my dismay, I found that the size of the stencil didn't quite fit the shelves. Next time I'll double check before drilling any holes (sometimes I'm too gullible). Anyway, I managed to get the details together by filing a bit and adding a few words that I shouldn't repeat here. When I installed the next shelf I used the template for the first bracket and then used the shelf itself as a template for the second mounting bracket. It worked much better and I didn't even have to wash my mouth out with soap when I was done.
