These pants are flexible and true to size. These are the lightest and most airy pants I've ever worn, so a big plus especially in summer! The only real cons: Ankle velcro is best used with a small amount of velcro to allow it to be tightened so it doesn't hang around waiting to snag on something. The elastic bands in the thigh area are a little strange, I don't know what function they will serve. yes (I've seen reviews saying it's for traction when crawling). Again, it would probably be possible to eliminate that part of the pants and save money on production. You need an additional step protection. Probably at least a soft cup. There are no pads that are in the crotch and there will be none when you play to protect your parts. The size may need a little extra space to tighten the waist. I bought the medium and have a 32-33" waist and I can pull my waist all the way up and it's still a little loose (although not bad at all). So if your waist is under 32", go for it You Small . Play these great summer games and I recommend them.
