I read tons of reviews before buying and sizing. I'm 5'7, about 170 pounds, big butt and thighs and usually wear size 12-14 pants. I went with a large and they fit great. I didn't want them to be bulky as I only bought them to wear under skirts and dresses. The large fits snug but not too tight and my legs don't roll up when I walk and my waist doesn't roll up. Yes, they're too see-through to wear alone (except to bed), but that's not what I bought them for, so I didn't care. In general I am very happy with them!
