This is a fairly basic cleanser that uses plant-based chemical peels (which means there is no actual exfoliating sand and exfoliation occurs on the product from the action of the product Skin). I didn't notice any silicones on the ingredients list so that's good to see. The recommended amount would be insane; the price of a dime would have me trying to get thick suds and sticky soap off my face for about twenty minutes. A bit of this really makes a world of difference, especially when used with Buf-Puf or another gentle exfoliating pad. The scent is okay, not my favorite but definitely not the most unpleasant scent I've ever put on my face. I really like using it in combination with the Vitamin C Serum and Citrus Moisture Gel; The combination is a bit harsh on sensitive skin, but in the morning my skin looks very radiant and smooth. Bonus points for being made in the USA and not abused. The price is a bit high, but stem cell skin care products are often competitive with other similar products. At this price I usually see slightly more meaningful results but I am still happy with the product when used in combination with the right supporting ingredients to increase its effectiveness.
