Didn't expect much and got more than expected
Just got this to remove a chip on the board but I'm impressed with it. I've used it to solder SMD components and it's quick. I didn't want a huge base station and this fits right in. Also, it turns on and off automatically when you put it on the stand and the cooling function is pretty cool. So far, so good. If that lasts a year, I call it a win. Just keep your fan speed low so it doesn't blast your SMD components to hell for ages.
