The product itself was very easy to install. You scrape the surface of the iPad, align it, and basically drop it on it. Wait about 45 seconds and watch the bubbles pop out. Very beautiful. However, I was looking for something more solid to use with my Apple Pencil because the retina display is just sooooo smooth. In fact, I found it even smoother (if possible). It's so soft. I found my pencil became even more sensitive after installing it. I could point the pencil at the surface of the screen without even touching it and it would write. I give 1 star for the stain protection. In fact, I see more smudges on the screen and it's harder to remove them due to the matte finish. I love this product but will remove it from my device and keep looking.
