Review on ๐Ÿงฒ Dritz 763-65 Magnetic Snap: 3/4-Inch Nickel Design for Reliable Closure by Amy Mcleod

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect closure, easy to put on.

These sew on buttons are a bit pricey but well worth the money. I've just made a large bag and was looking for a simple magnetic closure. This latch has enough strength to keep the bag closed. However, they are easy to open. They are thin enough to look good on the lining of the bag. But with a little thought I could tuck them in between the lining and the outside to make a fully hidden latch. confusing. DO NOT attempt to match the plus and minus signs. The magnets will not be strong enough. The BACK forms the perfect conclusion together with the inscriptions. I was afraid the fabric might be too thick for my sewing machine so I started slow. I didn't have to worry. Sewing machine with normal needle 80/12, zipper. I would highly recommend them to anyone making or repairing a wallet or bag.

Pros
  • Nickel Plated
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

Magnet is very week, only good for holding together two pieces of paper.
