My 6 month old kitten was spayed about a week ago. I wanted to try the costume on first because I knew she would act like a complete noob with an e-collar/cone. The suit is working great so far! It completely covers the incision and is snug enough at the arm and leg openings that she can't reach it. **Measure your cat, don't judge** We've washed it a few times and it's holding up great. The small size was a bit loose on our kitten (6.5lbs) but it's really long. The suit shrunk a bit in the dryer, which helped a lot. In her usual feline manner, she attempted to remove her costume. Twice she succeeded just because the neck wasn't set tight enough. She shed a few tears into the costume trying to take it off, but overall the integrity of the costume was excellent. Highly recommended as an alternative to an e-collar, especially if you have a crazy kitty!
