Soft cotton. Color is more vibrant than pictured

Very soft and perfect for the Florida winter. The colors are a bit stronger than I had hoped - I wanted more muted tones, like in the picture. Also not a big fan of the wrong side of the quilt or the flimsy material used for the wrong side of the pillowcases. and cut. It looks like some kind of gaudy logo. We bought 'used like new' and it's brand new. I showered before putting the bed down and our king mattress has enough ribs on each side to barely cover a deep mattress. I don't know why they don't make the width of the royal quilts more generous to fully cover the mattress on each side? Well, whatever it is, it's soft and cozy, and cotton, which has actually been a hell of a thing for me, is here to stay.
