Simply put, it doesn't fit 2020 JL Jeep. Installation takes 3 1/2 hours, modification required. In 2020, the supporting structure of the 3rd brake light will have a new design. The wire supplied is too thick to fit in the slot used for the wire channel. The thick insulation had to be cut away to expose 2 wires so they could be routed in tight spaces. It is not possible to install the brake light carrier without removing this outer insulation. Additionally, the 2020 Jeep has significantly less available wiring space to the brake light connector than the 2018 or 2019. This extremely tight space leaves very little room for heavily insulated wires, extra unnecessary length, and bulky connectors in the cavity. I am a mechanical engineer with 30 years of experience designing and manufacturing vehicles and equipment. This was one of the most difficult modifications I have ever made to my cars and by far the most frustrating. I am sure that for previous models this installation is not difficult. For 2020, this is a rather unpleasant adventure.
