Welds broke immediately

Materials are generally thin which is normal given the price, light weight and functionality of this part. But the weld broke during installation. Yeah, putting that thing on the door destroyed the weld - if you can call it that. So I carefully pulled out another one and showed my wife how cheap it was and where it broke. Another weld also broke. I can't believe he survived the birth. If it was made from a heavier material, it would have broken under its own weight. Try a different brand.
