When I first unpacked it I was impressed. There is some weight to these headphones and the metal body definitely feels "rugged". I like having the audio controls on the cable. But there are problems with the sound quality. There is a hissing sound when playing the sound. With music, this isn't a problem as you can turn up the volume to overcome it. Then you really only hear it after a second or two between the tracks. It was really noticeable (and annoying) when watching videos. Each time the audio pauses (e.g. when there is no dialogue), you will hear a hiss for a second, then it stops. It then begins again when dialogue resumes. Above . and also . Above. They become obsolete quickly. So it basically depends on what you are going to use them for. They are fine for music with a relatively constant sound. I do not recommend them for movies/TV shows/videos. PS I tried them on several devices and this problem was present on all of them.
