My 5 year old granddaughter is just starting kindergarten and we are trying to be more responsible as she lives between my house and her mother's house. She has to wear a uniform at her new school, so we need to keep track of her clothes between the two houses and not duplicate everything ($$$$$$). To do this, we have (1) "put everything you clean in the basket”, (2) take your basket to the Saturday gram wash. To make it more fun for her, she could choose her own basket. Needless to say, she loves unicorns and this was her favorite of MANY we had to watch. At Graham's house, she has a Skip Hop ladybug basket - also approved by her. The ladybug is cute, but the unicorn seems sturdier (which you have to move around) and a bit bigger. I hope this helps us keep track of all her clothes. especially the socks that always seem to disappear. Nice basket, stable and good size. Which is not to love but best approved by a 5 year old girl!
