I love these shorts. I wore them over a one piece swimsuit for stand up paddle boarding and they held up great and looked great. I'm just over 5 feet tall. , 107 lbs, slim/athletic frame and size 3 fits perfectly as pictured (sits below the belly button) I bought 4 different pairs of board shorts to compare their fit/"movement" and they were the best on all levels.
