Review on Deco Square Terrarium Display Reinforced by Kelly Zitzner

Amazing product worth the import tax to Europe

Very happy with the table. It's not perfect, but it's the only thing on the market that works for my purpose: a glass display table next to the sofa. What a highlight for my living room! I sealed the bottom and sides with silicone and it holds water very well. The glass bottom provides a view to check if your terrarium is overflowing. The terrarium is quite deep which allows for a good amount of soil and many plant size options. I even managed to fit a mini orchid inside! Disadvantage: It is not easy to assemble, it requires many improvements. I was able to assemble everything myself which is a plus. Just be very careful where the pieces go and double check that everything is lined up correctly. I find the cornices above incredibly tricky to assemble because the sides of the terrarium (broken glass) won't fit if the corners aren't aligned. Try your best to line up the corner battens, then don't be afraid to get the glass sides into place - I was really scared when I did this, but it worked out just fine. Note: Try not to put too much weight (e.g. soil) in the terrarium as this will make the table less stable due to the tall, thin legs. This is hardly a bug, but more of a design choice. If Deco ever made a lower terrarium table (coffee table height) it would be much sturdier and I would definitely get one.

Pros
  • Living room furniture
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
