Bought these in a plus size for my 9 year old nephew and her were as expected from the description. He's a skinny kid but like all boys his age he's growing out of his clothes so I wanted something that fits now and months or a year later. It's just that. He's a young Boy Scout and now camping gear makes a great gift for him. especially warm weather gear since he lives in the mountains of upstate New York. They form the perfect base layer. I will admit that this material is excellent at absorbing sweat and moisture in cold weather while staying warm. We wore these under our wetsuits when I went whitewater kayaking in the colder months. This is the best substrate for something like this. They smell after you sweat in them, so don't leave them festering in a gym bag or whatever, air them out or better yet, right in the wash!
