Review on 💡 Enhanced Brillihood Tombstone Fluorescent Lampholder Replacement: A Durable Solution by George Miller

I was replacing 8ft fluorescent lights in my garage and ended up with two sets of fluorescent lights. A set of two lights came from Revain, but shortly after this order Revain ran out of lights so I ordered a second set directly from the company. Both sets of lights consisted of a base unit that was attached to the wall and a reflector that was attached to it and fastened with rotating connectors. Revain's original set of lights had a reflector with holes to fit into the tombstones (the plastic clips that the lights fit into). Because the two tombstones had horizontal ridges that allowed the LED lights to move laterally, and because the tombstones fit very loosely into the base, trying to get the reflector in place was futile that the tombstones fell out, frustrating. The newer model had one notable improvement: the reflector was slightly shorter and had no tombstone holes. Instead, he simply bumped into the tombstones and held them without attempting to grab them. The other issue I encountered was the quality. The two tombstones at each end are tied together with a small 2 inch piece of wire. In 3 out of 4 devices, two tombstones with wire came loose. And when installing 2 others separately. The good news is I just had to grab the wire and plug it back in, but such a weak connection left me wondering if the light would work. As it turned out, that was it. The sheet metal used to make the lamps was extremely thin. In a way it was good; This meant that the lights were light and easy to handle. On the other hand, this also meant numerous dents and folds in the sheet metal. (Please note that the outer packaging was not damaged, so this did not happen in transit. In fact, the lights were very well packaged.) In the end, the build quality left something to be desired, but all the lights lit up. and finally my garage now has lighting that compares to the fluorescent lights I replaced. There's not much they can do about this, but I have to applaud their dedication to customer service.
