Review on ๐Ÿงน Efficient Cordless Electric Spin Mop with Reusable Microfiber Pads for Effective Wood Floor Cleaning by Emma Jones

Just buy a regular mop

I don't know why I thought this would somehow help me keep the mess in the house with too many pets what I order and here I am today. The concept is good, but the usability and convenience just aren't there. First, the rotating part is pretty much useless. It's not powerful enough to actually remove stubborn stains (imagine a cat throwing up in the middle of the night and you wake up in the morning with a stubborn stain stuck to your hardwood floor). The pads on spinning disks are plush, but unless you place them squarely in the middle, they rub and overlap oddly as the device spins. There is no atomizer on it, so you have to walk around. with water on hand to throw on the ground before use. To give you an image, this means walking around with a mop (which isn't light) in one hand and an open container full of water in the other. If you have children or pets or a clumsy partner (or yourself) it means that the risk of a container filled with water falling a bit (eventually) and splashing water on tables and floors is high and you definitely have to walking around with the water container open because the mop is too bulky to dunk in a bucket of water and also, unless you have a tiny house, the attached pads get dirty very quickly during use, meaning they have to be removed , in the middle of cleaning to wash them and stick them back on (oh joy! Now let's touch all the dirt with our hands), or you inevitably feel like you're probably not really cleaning anything if you just let them die all the time. Cleaningโ€ฆ not even for me that after a while you have to manually pour water on the floor before washing the floors. Damn cleaning discs get wet, so you still have to use them to squeeze the extra dirty water out of them. Take a regular mop. Don't leave it in the middle of the hold so you might wonder why even bother.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad
