PRO: Very good quality for the price. The leather is soft and solid to the touch and doesn't have the plastic feel of many other cases in this price range. It is good for the average user and protects against dust, scratches and slight dents on the computer's outer shell. Improves grip when carrying the laptop as the leather has a nice texture and doesn't slip. A small pocket on the back of the screen (outside of the case) is good for some papers or if you need to attach something to the case. The covered area where your wrists rest when typing is durable and not easy to slip, which is good and will not cause any damage. CONS: Most importantly, this sleeve insulates the laptop somewhat, causing it to heat up a bit faster. Also, about 1/3 of the intakes on each side are blocked, and there is very little room for the exhaust to let air out. For the average user doing basic streaming, viewing, or recording, this shouldn't pose a problem. But for people who do more stressful things on their laptops that get them pretty hot, I'd advise being cautious or just avoiding this instance. The case is fairly thin with little padding, so I don't expect it to protect the laptop from a drop or hard impact. The corners that hold the screen work well but only have a very thin fiber on the side that actually touches the screen and I believe this can cause scratches over time when lifting/closing the laptop so I recommend desperately need a screen protector if you have a screen protector this should never be an issue, would love if the manufacturer had the option to include it in the kit. The small pen holder on the right feels pointless, and the case itself doesn't cover the entire screen. side of the laptop so I would worry about it scratching the side of the computer when I use it. TL; DR Quality is good for the price but should be used with a screen protector to be on the safe side. This is a great case for casual users, but if you're doing more advanced computing tasks, be wary of heat due to poor insulation and lack of proper cooling.
