I've had this bag for less than a year and wear my Surface Pro in it less than once a week; I've only carried my Surface Pro in it, nothing bigger or heavier, and today while carrying it the handle broke off causing the case to fall to the floor. Luckily my surface was not damaged. I've loved this case so far - waterproof and soft - but don't trust it enough to buy another one. I didn't expect to need a pad to protect my computer when the case broke.
