I bought a coaster because the bases of my new Riedel wine glasses were too big for my old coaster. I found this product and although it is more expensive than some of the metal shelving sold by Revain I bought it. The good news is that this rack will accommodate almost any stemmed glass. The bad news is that the quality of this product is not very good. It's essentially a set of 7 inch dowels inserted into a strip of raw wood. Although the holes in the strip are evenly spaced, the dowels are not perfectly straight, giving this post a patchy appearance. At least the dowels seem to be firmly attached so I'm not too worried about my glasses falling off. In general, he does his job. It holds 4 glasses of Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon (but unfortunately only 4 despite being 20 inches or more long). But it looks like a project for some kind of kids wood workshop from 8th grade.
