Review on 🎧 Koss The Plug - Superior Blue In-Ear Headphones for Immersive Sound Experience by Richard Cunningham

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best bass sound I've found at an affordable price.

LOVE KOSS THE PLUG! I don't like that my favorite colors (white and green) cost more than the cheapest base black (just a few bucks or so). However, this is my favorite brand. Great bass sound (provided you get the real bargain and not the tinny sounding Chinese imitation eBay used to make) and with proper care will last much longer than other comparable price brands I've tried. I prefer the foam tips of these, which for me are more secure and comfortable than the plastic or silicone tips, which slip, fall out, don't seal, and it becomes very tiresome to constantly adjust them in the ear canal and constantly clean them of oily earwax. (Pooh). Wax will also collect on foam, but requires less frequent wiping with a soft towel (I use microfiber or a tissue) and comes with interchangeable foam heads that can be replaced (I don't usually need these, so I've collected a few extra pairs ) over the years, not to mention that foam tips aren't always as easy to replace as you'd expect, so I avoid it unnecessarily). Years, if not used daily longer. My headphones usually break (either the wire in the housing or the sound tube that holds the foam rubber comes loose completely - goodbye music), but only under heavy use, usually when I often wear them to bed to sleep (which I turn off have do). Pillows and it don't get along well unless my head is propped up higher with an extra pillow. Excellent sound quality for connecting to a TV - brings out all the subtle background noise (birds, traffic, etc) that I love and amplifies the inaudible whispers that are otherwise overlooked (and often missing from subtitles). I have to say that I used to like rubber. surface of the cable (it's soft, smooth, doesn't kink or make rubbing noises) but since I've got my current touch phone the rubber cable can actually act as a stylus and whenever it touches the screen (which it does all the time ). during usage time) my phone reacts like I'm touching it and all sorts of annoying features and apps are activated (and random changes are made! Not good). Problem! (no headphones, I hate touch screen phones). Struggling to keep the cable from touching the screen is a constant burden and often a setback. Spring. I guess not all phone brands are touch enabled but LG phones are. This is a very nice but very annoying feature. I still love and prefer these headphones for the bass quality they deliver. I've paid a whopping $50 for (used) Klipsch headphones, which were good quality and incredibly durable (took 5 years of gym abuse before they broke), but I didn't like these any better than these. I wouldn't dream of spending over $250 on Bose, Beats, Dyson or any other high-end brand only to probably lose them after a crazy investment (my life story). I'm happy with my relationship with Koss The Plug until they change the quality and stop production (another story from my life).
