Review on TeileHaus WPT1285,645-512 Pigtail Blower Motor Resistor Wiring Harness Connector for Chevy Impala, Malibu, Fusion, Buick, Pontiac - Compatible 2004-2015 by Dan Dickey

This fan connector will get hot and melt, which is a common occurrence on Malibu. The original wiring harness has four 14 gauge wires and one very thin wire, probably 20 gauge. This replacement was advertised with thicker wires to avoid overheating. It comes with five 16 gauge wires! This means the four wires are actually smaller than the originals and they're the ones that get hot. It works so far, but it's not a "fix" as advertised. We'll see how long it takes, but I'm not hopeful.
