I strongly bet 2 rows of wooden slats. There are about 17 stripes in each row. I am taller than my partner and my side of the bed/slats keep slipping/falling. 1 pack of velcro was more than enough to hold my side in place (it would take 2 orders of velcro if this hack was done on 30+ boards). A microfiber cloth was included and I used a household cleaner to wipe down the metal rails and edges of the wooden planks. I cut the Velcro strips in half and ended up with the perfect/exact size I needed. I placed the female part on the metal rails and the male part on the wooden rails. Problem solved. No more banging slatted frames and falling mattresses. It's only been a few nights and they haven't moved yet! I'll update this review if the adhesive wears off quicker than you might expect. UPDATE: It's been about a year now and the slats have remained in perfect condition even in harsh conditions. No settings have been made since the initial installation.
