This waffle maker was recommended by a friend. She did this and said there was almost no cleaning. That was crucial for me because my husband usually cooks breakfast. In fact he used it this morning and the only mess was 3 small drops of batter spilled on the way to the waffle maker. It's like a miracle. He asked for a waffle iron and I was afraid of the cleaning. This feature alone is worth the extra money. The waffles are also wonderfully prepared. Notification indicators are undeniable.
