Okay I'm stuck in a manic panic phase but I'm fed up with shades and didn't want to buy extras just to mix colors. And I've heard that the fox item can leak, especially if you have oily skin. I just tried this color from this brand but I'm already hooked. And it smells like grapes. My hair wasn't white when I applied it, it had a slight copper tinge to it, but I figured the purple color would neutralize it anyway, and it worked. Here are some tips on how to make semi-permanent color last longer (I'm no pro, but if like me you can't afford it, please): Be honest with yourself: How damaged is your hair? Go to some hairdressing forums and check them out. ALWAYS use a protein pack/hair mask after bleaching. Get some Palmer crap, they're about $2 at Walmart. Leave it on your hair overnight and you'll feel reborn in the morning. After you've bleached/protein packed your hair, wash it the next morning (yes, I usually do this on weekends) and DO NOT use conditioner. . The conditioner forms a layer on the hair to keep the color from drying out. Once your hair is completely dry, apply the color and then put a hair cap on top. I usually leave it on for at least two hours, but I've left it overnight before with no problems. A jar of it covered my head and I have a quarter left. My hair touches my shoulders and it's not thick. Anyway, I hope they weren't too long; I'm just tired of reading bad reviews and I really like this brand. Much luck!
