Review on πŸ’‘ Brilliantly Illuminating LED Closet-Light: Motion Activated with Ultra Slim Design and Light Guide Panel for Closets, Cabinets, Wardrobes, and More! by Jay Swearengin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bright, well finished, easy to install, automatic shutdown is not adjustable, instructions are written in 1 point Klingon

An update - ordered 2 of these lights and the second one arrived today. Turns off after about 15 seconds each time. The first one I bought lasts 20-30 seconds, so there is some variability in the "off cycle". Original review below -Pros/Cons --Very bright -Easy installation -Good quality, good fit and finish -Auto shut off after about 30 seconds but "off" time varies between 20-30 seconds and is not adjustable -Comes with a metal strip that attaches to the desired surface with adhesive strips, and this metal strip attaches to a magnet inside the light for easy removal for charging or cleaning. - Motion detection works well as long as you're close enough, say within a few meters. - It took about an hour to fully charge the new battery out of the box. Not sure yet how long a full charge takes - will let you know when I find out the cons (they are minor, no stars deducted) - auto shutoff varies a bit. I did 5 tests and it took 20-35 seconds to turn off (the second bulb I bought turns off like clockwork after 15 seconds - not a scam, just an observation) - the instruction manual is written in 1 or 2 points , don't have any special meaning, and the English part appears to be written in a variant of Klingon. An example from the manual is "Human body induction range: straight ahead 3-5 cm, horizontal 120; in lateral direction - 2–3"(sic). Sounds like a subtitle from a 1950's Godzilla movie. This is a good light, easy to install and charge, very well made and looks neat. I have them docked with 1 star for variable auto shut off with no time adjustment and useless instructions Your experience may vary but I bought 2 of these lights because it is MUCH easier than Romex 14 gauge for a switch and ceiling outlet for a real 120v -draw lighting.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but something happened
