Red Stains on White Side
Red is a beautiful true red, but on the first wash on a cold delicate wash it bleeds onto the white side, turning it an unattractive pink. I also bought a purple version of this blanket which I washed first and it didn't bleed so I was very surprised and disappointed. I'm glad I washed them separately! Both duvets are very soft and cozy on both sides of the duvet. The kid really likes the red color and doesn't want to change it to any other, so I'm keeping both, although this will continue to bother me. I hope it doesn't accidentally wash away anything important.
