I was about to get a Smart Folio direct from Apple, but I stumbled across this case here on Amazon! It looks like it's made from the same/similar material as the official Apple Folio, but it's four times cheaper! The magnets on the back are strong and the connection between the iPad and the folio is very strong. The magnets are strong and it does everything the original ego folio does. Not so strong that it's really difficult to take off, but strong enough that you can be sure it will stay in place. This type of case isn't really designed to last forever. It keeps the sides open when open and not overly protective when closed. But I'm pretty sure those who study it aren't looking for it anyway. The case/folio itself is not too heavy and does not interfere with using the iPad. The advantage over the original premium case is that it has an additional magnetic tab to protect the Apple Pencil from accidental drops when closed. When open, it folds up and forgets there's even a valve! Definitely recommended instead of the original Apple case for its price, functionality and quality.
