I've been using this pad on my desk for a few years now. Love it so much I've bought a second one in case they go bankrupt or discontinue this model. I use it at work from my desk at home, my girlfriend sometimes uses a spare on my kitchen table when she's done. Here's what's good: - Come on. Sizes are big enough to cover the width of my desk - Thick, soft, comfortable, mouse prints are good, for some reason they don't get dirty right away - Pure black, no logo - So far, it's survived going through the washing machine every few months, none Necessity, don't know if this is recommended, I wash it on a "delicate" cycle and let it air dry 10/10 I recommend
