As a software developer, it's important that my Alienware works at its best. This means that both GeForce graphics cards should be running at maximum performance when plugged in. Instead, this power supply never worked properly. At less than 330 watts, it made clicking noises. At full 330W output, it runs for a while and then shuts down causing my system to switch to battery at the wrong time and I may not be able to use my laptop while traveling. This cut off at maximum power was exactly the problem my old adapter had and that's why I bought the new one in the first place. I'll try to buy another one but I'm afraid it's too late to return/replace the adapter. I have ordered one.
