I made the mistake of ordering two sizes up, due to the reviews stating that this dress runs too tight in the chest, and also due to the claims of one full size of shrinkage, even when washing in cold water. Big mistake! I normally would buy a sz L for my bust, but I bought a size 2XL, and it was WAY too baggy through the chest. I'm talking inches too loose. Took it right off, but it only took having it on about 5 seconds to determine that the fabric is very soft and light. It says it's a cotton blend, and it feels wonderfully like a light weight rayon/cotton blend, soft and breathe-ably cool for summer. I re ordered it in a sz L after mentally debating whether I ought to allow one extra size in case of shrinking, but after reading the sz chart measurements, the bust measurement seems to be quite ample in a sz L. I will wash in cold as is my habit anyway.All of the reviews I read were at least a year old, so maybe the manufacturer fixed the sizing to be true to size, or possibly they now use a less shrinkage-prone fabric. I feel I ought to update my review after my new dress arrives. They also say free returns, unlike what some review stated (saying this was a cheap company) So I will send it right back today.
