I wear 10.5 from some brands and 11 from others. Many times I've just taken 11 and added a thin insole for extra cushioning. These shoes appeared to have a small hole which made them quite tight to put on. At one time they were definitely the smallest 11 I had. They have a pretty nice build, although the well-cushioned insoles are more than any of my other classic shoes. The leather is immaculate and the heel is well padded so they shouldn't dig in like many shoes. In terms of style, well. it's a subjective thing. They are simple in design, and simplicity is often elegant. What I don't understand is the crazy trend towards long pointy shoes. These shoes are so much longer than regular boots that I scratched the top front edge on the edge of some steps. twice. They're like those comic book witch shoes or something. You can carry extra money or a small child in the unused space between your toes and the pointed toe of the shoe. I think some people like it, otherwise it wouldn't be an increasingly common style. I personally don't understand. I wanted to deduct two stars for the significantly different size, but the quality and padding really exceeded my expectations. Resize your order a bit and you'll probably be very happy with it. if you like pointy toe shoes. Short Version: They're small, well-tailored, and have more lining than most.
