alternative use best in thermoses

I didn't buy this for tea or coffee, I bought it for morning oatmeal and yoghurt cereal (See photo ). This mug keeps my oatmeal hot and yogurt granola cold than a ceramic, glass, or plastic container. The wider base compared to regular cups is helpful for stability. I wish there was a silicone pad underneath so it wouldn't move around in a moving car. It's actually pretty hard. Not the kind of mug I would take with me on a hike, I have a double wall Titanium Snow Peak mug.
