I almost sent it back because as others have posted here I couldn't hold the plastic grommets supporting the shelves together. I looked at the answers to the questions and found the problem. It is true that the instructions are horribly printed and so small that you cannot see a single detail. So when you put the sleeves on the rods, make sure that the arrows on each half of the sleeve are pointing upwards. You'll find that as you slide the first half up and down it catches on the bar a bit and then you put the second half on. There will be a small gap on one or both sides of the sleeve, this is not a problem. Make sure the shelves are lowered onto the supports with the tab DOWN. I assumed the bar was for load securing, but no. The shelves are designed to slide down and essentially cover the sleeves, securing them and adding stability to the whole structure. Hope that helps.
