This is a very nice pair of mittens. The wind chill was 25 below when I walked my dog and my hands got cool, and when I had to take one off to scoop the poop that hand didn't warm up. the fabric fingers in the mitten did not allow me to make a fist inside to warm back up as I had preciously done with wool mittens. Next trip I wore a pair of wool gloves inside my new mittens and that kept my hand warm in the quick clean-up job. I got the Large size because of others' reviews and that was good or I couldn't have got the wool gloves inside. Highly recommended.
