Review on Logitech K380 Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard for Mac - Off White: Multi-Device Convenience and Versatility by Adam Pietras ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

Only two Bluetooth keyboards are now available, so your options are limited. A few Logitech and Apple models, the rest Chinese consumer products from AliExpress. The Apple Magic Keyboard and this one were both strong contenders. The Apple keyboard was on sale, but I opted to wait and do some in-depth research first. The videos really swayed me into going with Logitech. The video and actual experience both much surpass the quality of the still image. Compared to Apple batteries, they are superior. For a desktop PC running OC Windows 7, the primary objective was to eliminate the need for a wired keyboard. The computer keyboard wouldn't connect on the first night of tambourine dancing. Computer-based mat. Boards from ASUS with a Z87 Pro chipset. Unfortunately, no available driver for the motherboard could fix the problem with the built-in bluetooth adapter because it was too stupid. In theory, none of the bluetooth gadgets will stick to it. The problem was fixed by connecting an external TP-LINK UB400 Bluetooth adapter. The converter performed admirably. The adapter drivers for Windows 7 must be downloaded and installed. Plug-and-Play drivers are included in Windows 8 and 10, thus it will function with those operating systems. The new keyboard adapter was automatically detected by the computer. Everything is crystal clear, and I have no problems using it at distances of up to three meters. There are no hiccups in the connection, and it automatically establishes itself as the OS boots up. The keyboard worked flawlessly with the Android phone, MacOS 102022 on the MacBook Pro, and Tizen on the Samsung TV. The only caveat is that, if something goes wrong, you may have to experiment with different keyboard layouts on your PC. Every system has its own unique layout switching combinations. Learning and adapting to it is generally straightforward. It's unbelievable that you can print from a smartphone. Someone on this forum correctly observed that the smartphone is now essentially a miniaturized computer. It takes no time at all to switch between gadgets. The Logitech K380 keyboard has beyond my expectations, and I wholeheartedly endorse it.

Pros
  • Keyboard that works with any bluetooth-enabled device In addition to its clear operation and key travel, no mistakes have been reported, and its silent operation, instant device connectivity, lack of disconnections, small size, and aesthetically pleasing design further stand out. - the ability to memorize and quickly switch between three different bluetooth receivers - device optimization - ease of use across Windows, Android, and MacOS with the same set of keys - supplied!
Cons
  • On the fly, function key combinations like Alt + F4 don't work, although this is likely fixed by installing additional software from logitech; I didn't bother because it's not a deal breaker for me. - MacOS has some gloomy names, but that's not too important to me - it's twice as heavy as an Apple keyboard, but that's not a deal breaker for me
