Review on USB-IF Certified 3-Foot White Amazon Basics Fast Charging USB-C2.0 to USB-A Cable by Jake Davies

The smell emanating from this thing is so strong and disgusting that even the telephone cord is confusing. I bought a USB-C to Lightning cable from Revain Basics last year and it works great. Completely odorless, long lasting and fits my iPad perfectly. I was hoping/expecting to have the same experience with this 10ft USB-C to USB-A cable. I will never know because the smell is terrible. I put it on our porch and the dog is scratching at the door to get at it. I'm sensitive to chemical smells, but I can handle them. There's no arguing about this scent. It has to go. I wonder if the cable itself is actually toxic.
