Review on ๐Ÿ”’ Securely Mount Your Dishwasher with Granite Grabbers Dishwasher Mounting Brackets by Chris Weber

Revainrating 5 out of 5

it is not recommended to use the side screw-in bracket; 1 handle came loose after 3.5 years, the other is loose

I used this set of handles for installation under granite. The adhesive works and will last for several years (purchased November 21, 2015) but it's really only a temporary fix as the dishwasher door has to be closed repeatedly before the cycle can start. One grip is loose and the other has slight play up/down-forward/backward so looks like it might last a few more months. We run our dishwasher on a short heat cycle probably 5 times a week so this kit handle lasted us around 1500 hard to close dishwasher doors. I also used silicone sealant around the perimeter of the handles to prevent steam from getting in from the dry cycle. I only recommend this handle set if drilling holes in granite is the only alternative. Our granite installer drilled holes and used screws, each with a plastic body, but they lasted less than 5 years before I tried gluing the plastic in place, but that didn't work in the end and I ended up with handles used. It is best to use the side screw. -in a bracket that screws into the wooden cabinets on the sides of the dishwasher. This type of mount is thin enough not to be visible after installation. When using claws, the time required to prepare the floor surface and secure the claws is best spent installing the side screw-in bracket. I used the side screw mount to replace this set of handles and installing the mount was pretty easy (about 30 minutes, it didn't go smoothly) - I just glued the mount in place and drilled 4 small holes. holes and screws.
