The cable is advertised as an 'industry' standard and high performance design, so the display is said to show a heavily shielded and robust design. It is twice the diameter of our previous failed cable and also has extended armor at both ends of the cable where the previous cable failure occurred. I've only used it for a week but it looks like it should last longer than our broken cable which only lasted 6 months.
