Vita + PsPlus = friendliness!

Within 2 hours of launch I had 14 games and a few demos. I bought TxK for 9.99. 3 of them were free because I have them on my PS3. The rest is a PsPlus giveaway (or subscription?). I like the user interface and the operating system. Things like downloads and news are on the same list, and automatic downloads and installs work great. Everything is logically connected, so in different parts of the operating system, as well as in games, you can get exactly where you want by clicking on games, news, installations or whatever. This means that you have to move a lot less to do something in the operating system compared to, for example, PS3. GREAT SCREEN! I quickly get used to analog sticks and general ergonomics. In the end I consider it different depending on the game or application. Slightly heavier when held in one hand to touch with the other. It's not really a big deal, especially since it seemed to depend on how exactly I held it, so I'll probably be better at it. There are good shortcuts for key settings and features, and so far everything seems really well designed. The cost of a memory card and the speed of this expensive memory are the low points. Put these two together and it seems offensive. In fact, that was the only reason I haven't received it until now. I found out how slow the cards were and yet they were 2x more expensive than the faster standard cards. Prices have come down a bit, but I really need more speed. So overall it exceeds my expectations, except for the storage speed and cost, which is exactly what I expected.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...
