The hard plastic tapered base does not match the inner taper of my candle holders. (Real wax candles are molded to fit. These will not fit.) This way the candles won't stand up straight. I had to use a narrow ring of 3M tape around the top of the bases to keep them straight. The remote control buttons are a bit weak but work with repeated presses. The remote control needs to be close enough to work and this will affect the timer function.
