I give this pistol 4.5 stars and you can trim it however you want. This is an excellent pistol. Very strong and durable except for one thing - the shackle (orange strap) across the front of the weapon is a little loose and moves around a bit. I could only do it with vigorous shooting, but he moved anyway. I have small hands for a man and my right hand hurt a lot after using this gun for hours. The trigger was very consistent and as I said, this gun is reliable. Children, men and women with small hands may get sick after playing for a few hours. However, for $10, this is a great buy. Consider getting the WiiZapper if you have small hands. It's about 20 dollars. I'll review WiiZapper later. The WiiZapper is very well built and works great when used as a pistol rather than a shotgun. I bought a counterfeit pistol from Dollar General and by the way it compares horribly to this pistol. Beware of any weapon that uses fancy "A" pushbutton devices - try before you buy if you can. Button B is depressed each time the trigger is pulled on this pistol. All main buttons are also accessible from above. This gun also has a great bonus feature - a nunchaku slot on the bottom of the gun. That's right, there's a connector in the gun that not only holds the controller in place but also connects the nunchuck through the bottom.
