We purchased these sheets (white) about 3 weeks ago. We washed them twice according to the instructions and both times they were fine. The sheets are soft and comfortable. Since December we can no longer take into account the problem with the temperature regulation. As mentioned above, the bag is 16 inches deep (16 inches from corner to elastic). So if you have a 15 inch mattress (or a 12 inch mattress with a 3 inch top) this sheet will barely match the depth of the mattress. While the elastic is a good 3/4" x 1" wide, it's not very tight, causing the sheet to pull out more than I'd like (remember, it barely fits my mattress, so keep that in mind). Aside from the depth, we didn't see any pilling or broken stitching. Thread count has never been documented, but the sheets are quite lightweight and are woven slightly open (so they don't look like standard cotton sheets). I have to say they feel very good and we are very happy with the feel of the sheets. If the depth was 18 inches we would buy again in a heartbeat!
