I bought these locks because I hated taking keys with me on vacation. Both locks work better than expected. Love the fact that these are cable locks and not a traditional U-lock. This offers much more flexibility when locking your luggage. The dialing system on it looks well done. All dials spin without sticking and click when a number is in the right position (ALL numbers do this, not just your combination). This is done so you don't make mistakes when aligning the number. Yes, it has a warning that there is a chemical that causes cancer, but honestly, you won't be holding that padlock. or bag all the time. Constant contact with chemicals causes bad side effects. You only touch these locks when opening or closing your luggage on a business trip or vacation. Trust me, you touch and smell a lot worse when you use regular household cleaners. Resetting a combo is extremely easy; 1. Open the lock with the default combination and leave it open.2. Using a small pointed object (buttons work great), press and HOLD the button on the bottom of the lock.3. Press and hold the button and set the combination.4. Release the button and it should set. The only downside is the price. These locks are more expensive than traditional bar locks, almost twice as expensive. However, they appear to be more durable. If you hate carrying around keys, have a good memory and need a lock that will last a while (assuming TSA doesn't lose it), then this lock is for you.
